Experience my previous chronicles demonstrates that it is often difficult to convey in a few lines why do appreciate this or that series. Let's see if the reverse is less delicate exercise in returning to H2, the manga adaptation missed eponymous Adachi. Adachi is a bestselling author of shounen-quality, well that U.S. regular scriptwriting same strings: sport as a backdrop for a romance between teenagers. Set in the world of high school baseball, H2 is a typical example. Hiro launcher Emeritus, is in love with Hikari, Hideo girlfriend, renowned drummer in the middle school student, all three are childhood friends. Contact with Haruka, Hiro tries to take the club of his high school baseball to the top. The chess pieces in place, the viewer is left only to observe the game being played in both the field and in hearts. I appreciate
Tanaka Koutaro (Hideo) and Ichikawa "head mouse" Yui (Haruki) do little better and it is difficult to see any chemistry between these three characters. Satomi Ishihara (Haruka), playing a naive young manager and clumsy, a little better out of the game but the classicism of his second role gives him certainly can not afford to make up the monotone imposed by the top three.
Quiz: Hiro) will throw the ball to win, b) saw Haruki Hideo languidly kiss in the stands, c) said he should go to the hairdresser, d) learns that her character is removed from the casting
I was recently pointed out, rightly, that I devote much space to describe the characters in my columns. Nothing is more real and for good reason. While I do agree sometimes show a hint of fan behavior (KimuTaku ...) but basically, if I give the actors much room is above all because they are the major ingredient and essential to the success of a series. On a formula often short (7-11 episodes), they have the difficult task of bringing the viewer into the world where they are rampant. Their ability to generate empathy for their characters and immerse ourselves in history, are for me the cornerstone of a successful series, even before the quality of the script or performance. That will perhaps not the opinion of other fans of TV series, but here comes all the subjectivity of the writer.
In this case, the main actors of H2 have largely failed to draw me into their adventures. The correct rendering of baseball games or the attempts of some secondary characters for a taste of humor Adachi were not enough to alleviate the monotony of this series. Too bad ...
