In reading these comments above a colleague, apparently better informed than me, I fell from the clouds.
When I came to Paris you listen to Bill talk about GMOs in May 2008, I understand that my MP, that the 4th district of Ille-et-Vilaine Redon-Bruz had been available to the arguments of those fighting the gravediggers of our planet.
It would seem unthinkable to imagine that you were then part of the 'concert demagoguery' [1] about Infrastructure project 'pharaonic' and 'the last century, which would swallow up - for concrete - some 2000 hectares of good agricultural land by removing the same time some fifty farms. That is to say, if we calculate on the basis of each employee and job related to quality agriculture, more than a thousand jobs. Not to mention the cost "external" a deteriorating social fabric, even a rural or semi-urban rich and the destruction of a grove in exceptional biodiversity invaluable.
In exchange for what? On nous parle de 3500 emplois à opening Notre Dame-des-Landes . Now, 650 direct jobs and 1000 indirect jobs are listed on the current site of Nantes Atlantique. These jobs are quite simply transferred to the new site. How can one imagine that by a simple airport transfer or a magic wand, we can go from 1650 to 3500 jobs? It also promises 15,000 jobs in 2050. But what will be the development of air transport, given the financial crisis and ongoing energy? The point is mainly to "transfer" of jobs rather than "creations".
Also note that at the rate contemporary equivalent of a French department is artificialised every ten years, the public is tired of such speeches mythomaniacs and that the priority of 21 th century is to regain the quality of water and réapproriation our sufficiency. This s'effectura only by sound management of soil that will focus on (a) regeneration of the microbial flora and (b) conservation - if the increase - of agricultural land available in French territory. These are hard facts.
The site officially named the " Zone Aménagment Deferred" was renamed the Zone Defending by its opponents. Many of their fortified camps are threatened with reprisals juridical and can not possibly not long resist the provocations of the police, notorious for their brutality and comportment called 'vexatious characterized - due to the nature of authoritarian presidential system today. Yet Notre Dame des Landes recalls strangely impasses Plogoff (1978-1981 ) and plateau Larzac ( 1973-1981).
