How Much Does Weymouth Club Cost

Beautiful Life

This drama is a monument to Japanese television. To give an idea, this series has won all the prizes to the 24th Television Drama Academy Awards, his eleventh and final episode has captured the largest audience (41.3%!) Ever recorded for a drama since 1983 ... In truth, the statistics showing the relentless success of Beautiful Life are legion. Takuya Kimura's presence, despite its immense popularity, can not alone explain such a phenomenon. What may well be the reasons for this success?

For the daily returns constantly to Kyoko image of abnormality: unable to return in some shops because of the steps at the restaurants because of lack of space to get a wheelchair taxi refused to stop taking it support, fears of the bride's brother of having to bear the future burden of disability, etc.. The unsuitability of our supposedly modern societies for people with reduced mobility is shown so blatant though without ostentation. Kyoko wants to live like everyone else - work, travel ... - but its Courage does not hide his doubts. When Shuji (Takuya Kimura) spends time with her, is it pity? When he is modeled, is to make an impression by being photographed with a disability? What chance does she appeal to a brilliant man, loved and admired? What future for her, for them? Kyoko is naturally still sees herself primarily through her disability. And therein lies the whole "fight" led by Shuji: long before a disabled person, it shows she is a wife Kyoko, a woman who is entitled to the same feelings, the same joys, the same desires as everyone else. Gruff, reserved to the limit of blankness, Shuji behave with her as with anyone else-bodied woman. He does not deny his handicap, but gave it to his place, that is far, far behind what makes Kyoko a woman who attracts him and he will love deeply. And it is so keen to believe, so afraid to believe it ...

I do not think this issue of disability in itself sufficient to bring such success to this drama, but, both central and diffuse, it gave a unique intensity and veracity to the feelings that unite Shuji and Kyoko. There is created the difference between Beautiful Life and its sister series. Between the fine evocation of the theme of disability, the romance of the main characters, the lightness of some scenes, the depth and emotional impact of others, a perfect balance is achieved. Also worn by top players, Beautiful Life thus proves to be a romantic drama like no other.
